As the 2025 team of The Tour 21 prepares to roll out on Stage 1 tomorrow, Cure Leukaemia are thrilled to announce that applications are now open for The Tour 21 – 2026. With places on the team limited, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for passionate amateur cyclists to ride all 21 stages of the world’s most iconic cycling event—just one week ahead of the professionals.
From Saturday 27th June to Sunday 19th July 2026, The Tour 21 team will take on the official 2026 Tour de France route, covering over 3,500km across 21 consecutive stages, raising vital funds for Cure Leukaemia, official charity partner of The Tour de France in the UK.
The journey begins in Barcelona, with three thrilling stages through Spain before crossing into France. The full route will be revealed in October 2025, but one thing is certain: this is your chance to ride the same legendary roads, scale the same brutal climbs, and experience the same finish lines as the Tour de France pros.

Jackie Fowler, a 2022 Tour 21 rider, described the experience as transformative:
“Riding The Tour 21 was the toughest thing I’ve ever done—but also the most inspiring. You ride as a team, you ride with purpose, and every single kilometre feels meaningful. Knowing that every climb is funding life-saving research makes this challenge unlike any other.”
Professor Charlie Craddock CBE, Co-Founder of Cure Leukaemia, emphasised the vital importance of the funds raised:
“The money raised by The Tour 21 riders directly funds our network of specialist research nurses and gives patients access to treatments they would not otherwise receive. These riders are not just cycling heroes—they are helping to transform the future of blood cancer care.”
Entry Fee: £12,000
Minimum Fundraising: £30,000
Every mile ridden will bring hope to blood cancer patients across globe. Every climb conquered will help fund research nurses to deliver groundbreaking clinical trials to bring new, innovative treatments to patients worldwide.
